On Thursday, April 4 visitors at the park can check out the boat tours which depart every 30-minutes on Monday through Friday and on weekends.

“A mild winter will allow us to open early this year,” said Maid of the Mist President Christopher M. Glynn. “Our crew is ready to welcome the world to Niagara Falls for a bucket list experience that is like no other.”

The Maid of the Mist will also be offering special extended hours for those in the area on April 8 for the total solar eclipse happening across the country.

On the day of the eclipse the days operations will be on a first come first serve basis. The crows nest will be closed with tickets only available for the observation deck.

Last year the boats season started on April 15 and ran until November.
